Men as Men

Men, we were meant to build something. You were meant to do something. God did not create a fully fleshed out world. God scattered a bunch of legos all over the earth called legos and he said – I’m the Creator, but you’re my co-creator.  Let me tell you this…if you’re a high school guy or if you’re a young adult guy, this is intimidating. There are millions of jobs to choose from and it’s overwhelming. College seems so expensive and so it’s frustrating. But let me tell you what the solution is not. The solution is not to stay a boy, avoid responsibility, party all the time, and vote that someone else will pay for your college education. The solution is for you to give yourself to a good God honoring work. Those who don’t channel their energies into work, will end up channeling it into bad exploits – pornography, addiction, distraction and depression. Men are like pick up trucks. They drive better when they’re hauling a load.
