Living Proof of a Loving God

It’s a pretty simple idea, really.

We believe that the good news of Jesus has the power to save and change lives.  But we also know that we are most effective when our lives match up with our words.

Jesus said that we are the light of the world. and that we should let our light shine before others, so that they would see our good works and give glory to God (Matthew 5:14-16). When we show God’s love in tangible ways, with no strings attached, we become Living Proof of a God who loves them and desires a relationship with them.

This is our Mission.  Here’s how we do it at VantagePoint Church.

Easter Egg Hunt

Every Easter we put on the largest Easter Egg Hunt in the city of Eastvale.  Thousands of people from our surrounding communities enjoy easter egg hunts, games, large inflatables, food, prizes, and of course pictures with the Easter Bunny.  It takes hundreds of volunteers to put on this amazing event. We even have special hunts for families with Special Needs.

Christmas Gift Mart

Christmas is the best time of year to share God’s love with people in need.  Each December we put on a Christmas Gift Mart, where families in need are invited to shop for Christmas gifts for their kids.  The toys are all donated by the people of VantagePoint Church and families buy them for pennies on the dollar. This allows them to provide a Merry Christmas for their kids that they would not otherwise be able to afford.  Hundreds of volunteers help them shop, wrap their gifts, sing carols, help the kids meet Santa, and more.

Acts of Kindness

We’ve handed out thousands of bottles of water, bought down the price of gas, picked up trash, hauled away junk, bought hundreds of Starbucks, smoothies, drive-thru meals and more. And we’ve done it all in the name of Jesus with no strings attached.

Partnerships

We try not to reinvent the wheel too often.  If there’s an organization out there that is meeting the needs of our community, we try to find out how we can help them be more effective in reaching out.  Through our partnerships, we’ve been able to provide volunteers and money to help foster babies and families, fight trafficking and help at-risk youth, feed and clothe the homeless, work in our local prisons, provide toys for children with cancer and backpacks and school supplies for children in need.

We partner with the following organizations:
