Toddler Check-In
Our toddler area is filled with lots of fun, engaging toys appropriate for this high-energy age group. Our volunteers will provide a safe and nurturing environment for your little one.
What to bring:
1. A few disposable diapers or pull-ups
2. A bottle or sippy cup of milk, juice or water
3. A pacifier or other security item if needed
4. A change of clothes should your toddler require that
5. A healthy child- If your child has had a fever in the past 24 hours, fresh cold (four days or less), rash, persistent cough, diarrhea, vomiting, or any other signs of illness, please do not check them in.
When you check in:
Outside our auditorium is our Information Center. This is your first stop where you will be greeted by a friendly volunteer that will receive your information and give you a pager, name tag and directions to your child's class. Please keep the printed security code tag as you'll need this to pick up your child. Please alert the nursery staff if your child needs a bottle at a specific time, has allergies or any other special needs.
If you'd like to fill out our Family Information Form in advance, this will make the check in process much quicker.
Leaving your child:
As you know, it is normal for children to begin crying when separated from their parents. This usually does not last long and gets better over time. After you’ve checked in your child, simply wave a quick good-bye and go to the worship service. Our staff will be sure to page you if your child’s crying does not subside after 15 minutes. Feel free to check on your child at any time. Just try to do so discreetly, so your child doesn’t see you.
Pick-up Procedures:
In order to pick up your child, please present your security code tag that you were given at the time of check in. This procedure is necessary for the safety of all our children. Please ensure that all your child’s items have been returned to you before leaving. Since we are a portable church, it is difficult to maintain a lost and found area.
